Well there's always the fact that the Finns punish anything related to the Shadow. Its possible being one of the Forsaken is a death sentence, or perhaps freedom is impossible for the servants of the Shadow. I still think the Finns hate the Shadow because it can affect the Pattern and can 'blind' them.


He is literally saturated with the True Power. They must have known who and what he was. For him to have any leverage, he must have brought some very considerable bargaining material. Maybe a whole host of channelers for the Finns to feed on. There is no way Moridin would have gone into Finnland unless he knew he could get out, and with Lanfear.
