In these books has become kind of UBER Matt. The matt that Jordan toned down so that he wouldn't completely overshadow the dragon reborn. I guess I'm one of the rare ones who really likes Matt under sanderson's style. He's more glib and free and not as "constrained" as he was when Jordan was writing him. Maybe he could be described as "embracing death" as the Aiel say Rand did.
I don't know, but I've reread sanderson's contributions several times and the Matt scenes are still my favorite.
Egwene annoys the living snot out of me, she always has... and she's only gotten worse as she has become Amyrlin. Her scenes just mad me want to rip my eyeballs out, Its too bad really that gawyn was b@llbusted completely by her. He was a cool character...
ah well... such is life. Still dying for AMOL and the world so better not end in december or I will be VERY annoyed!
