Jealous, so very jealous.
Do you two know how absurd you sound? First of all, I very much knew who B-Sand was before he took over. Secondly, if WoT helped his fan base, it certainly has nothing to do with his staying power. His books are very good and I really don't care for the WoT books he has done. I much prefer his own work. It disgusts me how you two dismiss his success, as though being a bestseller is some type of fluke. Get off your high horses and write your own successful fantasy series.
Let me get this straight - success at his job does not make Eli Manning a good quarterback. Yet, success at his job means that anyone who is unsatisfied with Brandon Sanderson's performance on a highly subjective scale, must be jealous or have some other motive for criticizing him?
Furthermore, your response to our observation that writing success has a great deal to do with luck - is to demand that we reproduce that fortuitous turn of events that has benefited Sanderson? That's like us saying "Well he won five straight coin flips due to luck" and you responding "Wow, you must be jealous! Shut up until YOU manage to win five flips in a row!"
It's good to see that your one consistent trait is a complete lack of logical consistency, whether in assessing entertainers, or in following arguments.

If you have to call someone "my friend" three times in a couple of minutes, he isn't.

Yes. The last time it happened to me it ended with the taxi driver fined by the NYPD.
