And I do remember enough of the first couple of GRRM books to feel like an insider ... I wonder how quickly he will turn out the next book. He's going to run out of material pretty quick if he doesn't write something soon. IIRC the TV series has already gotten through the majority of the first 2 books.

In my 20's and 30's I think I had a lot more time to read various genres ... In my 40's I find have a lot less time to dedicate to any given leisure activity, but a lot more things I'm interested in trying!
