I agree that a book that is ruined by spoilers is basically worthless. If a secondhand summary of events is enough to capture the excitement and entertainment value of a book, then the book is hardly worth reading.

Which is why I have never minded spoilers.

As for aMoL... its shaping up to be very unexpected, from the spoilers I'm getting. Some of my most assured theories have been shot to hell. So I guess I'll enjoy it!
