And of course, there's the fact that showing gay men establishes quite clearly that homosexuality in both sexes is a recognized phenomenon in the Westlands.

I don't give a rat's ass if there are gay characters in the book. What I'm saying is exactly what Joel said - it's tokenism at its finest, likely to coddle whiney assed fans like you who think everyone is out to get gay people and that, if there are no tokens in the book, that whoever wrote it must be anti-gay.

So, yeah. Grow the hell up.
