I agree about Fain and Bela, but not about Demandred. I thought it was brilliant. All the other forsaken were competing for the same resources and prizes and Demandred took the opportunity to take over whole of Shara. Much better work than the shoddy performance we tend to see from the other forsaken.
Some of the cameos were rather bittersweet though. Both Hurin and Juilin (especially Juilin) are among my favorite characters and they got around a page each. From over 900. I was also certain Mat would have been bound to the horn. Overrall, I honestly felt the book would have needed a couple hundred pages more to wrap things up properly.
