Too bad Nynaeve treats all other men like CRAP ... I would adore her character if she could bring herself to treat men like Mat with respect during their face to face interactions. She is fiercely protective when someone like Tuon insults him, but she treats Mat nearly as poorly as Tuon does.
Egwene has a degree of respect for most of the men around her, oddly except for Gawyn, or at least doesn't brow beat them like Nynaeve does. Elayne has potential to be akin to Birgitte but the jury is still out ... And they are the best of the bunch.
