The WT authority is near an all time low, and world powers are balancing each other out. In order to keep the WT in check, the patten needed a less ambitious leader.


Despite the fact that she technically out ranked her for the job. She accepted Rands treats and signed it. She approached the Sea Folk and Aiel as equals ... Offering service for service.

I understand not liking the character, but don't just make shit up.
