I'm just glad that from my Skim reading assessment, he remained a superior general to Mat right to the end.
He was never outwitted, or caught off guard, or drawn into a trap etc.
The Light remained on the back foot against him until the end.
In the end, his madness caused his fall, not him being outwitted by a punk like Mat.
And going out against Lan Mandragoran in a suicide attack is really a pretty awesome way of going down, given the benchmark that has been set for the Forsaken thus far in the series.
Still, I would just have liked more calculation and less madness from Demandred in the end. All in all though, he probably had the best showing of all the Forsaken, in the final analysis.
