1. Mat and Rands little game of one upmanship in front of Tuon

This was horribly badly written, the POV seemed to change between the two of them and back to omni repeatdly throughout it.

Awfully out of character with the universe, the characters everything



That scene is actually one of my favorites. It could have been written better, but I felt is was a nice pause as 2 old friends set aside their current responsibilites and reached back to their youth together one last time. Rand & Matt had not been able to interact like 2 normal kids sine the first scenes of TEotW. This wasn't something they did for Tuon, it was for them, it was their goodbye.
