I just finished reading through the whole series again for what must have been my fourth or fifth time and since it is still fresh in my mind I can say that his writing style threw me off at first. The first paragraph of the first book he wrote confused the hell out of me; mainly because his sentence structure was curt and to the point to me. I became used to it as I kept reading and it seemed to me that his style grew and changed the farther I read into the books.

Even with his style I felt closure when I finished reading.
