That's pretty much what I think, and also why I don't think there's one 'real' world. Fanatic-Templar Send a noteboard - 22/08/2013 04:01:44 AM

View original postThe more interesting paradox (which shed some interesting light on a few things happening in the series, notably the fact Shai'tan does not appear to learn much or have memories of past confrontations to share with his "Champion" Moridin, to his great frustration) was this: outside the Pattern, in the "prison", time doesn't exist.

The Mirror Worlds are also variations of the Pattern. When he stepped outside the Pattern, he was of all worlds and none. It's not that the reality we've been following is real and the others are all reflections, it's that in the instant of confrontation, Rand represented all worlds. He not only won across all time, he won across all possible variations of the Pattern. The Dark One is free in all worlds, or he is free in none. And he is free in none.

The first rule of being a ninja is "do no harm". Unless you intend to do harm, then do lots of harm.

It's fairly obvious, Jordan-style (ie: a few cl;ues, you have to think it up yourself) - 30/07/2013 02:56:55 PM 879 Views
