If we follow the writing logic that solving things with magic requires an evolved magic system so as to have some internal logic to it.
What would you do, show Earth weaves as brownish and Spirit as opaque ?
How would a scene such as the cleansing of Saidin be interesting at all ?
The focus of the show would need to change, meaning highlights in the books might not necessarily be highlights on the show.
