I think you're right about Morgase and Elayne. I, for one, cannot believe Elayne hadn't even kissed a man before Rand. How can the Daughter Heir possibly have escaped men throwing themselves at her?

As for Perrin... Lini might well have seen him as a youthful mistake of Faile's. Maybe she thought Faile will toss him over and marry better?
