Hmm, well I have to agree. It was mostly a tongue in cheek interpretation of WoT after reading too much Camille Paglia (love her). Although I do like the idea of saidin being an allusion to the fragility of the male ego.

She's pretty much the most tolerable feminist I've ever heard of.
She certainly is.. Christina Hoff Sommers, too. I'm astounded Salon still publishes Paglia's columns.
