I don't understand why Taim would be a Forsaken and not attend a single Forsaken meeting. The argument that he's a secret even from the Forsaken just doesn't cut it for me, I'm afraid.

We don't know he hasn't, just that we haven't seen him at any. For that matter, we've seen Ishy at meetings where no one else did. ;)
Besides, RJ said that Taim looked older because he'd gone through a tough time in his life. The answer suggests that Taim is Taim. The Black Tower would get too crowded if there was another Forsaken, along with Osan'gar and Moridin.

Um... I think Taim being Be'lal and Moridin being a BT regular are mutually exclusive. Certainly Taim went through a tough time in his life, too, but I'm treating Taims apparent age as irrelevant for precisely the quote you note. It's more a matter that he didn't start channeling yesterday but shows no sign of the Taint.
