Your best bet is to go with the ars arcanum mentioned above...it would it seems the safest and soundest route to go. Over the books non channelers seem to be in the minority. Of all the charachters in the books non chanelers seem to be in the minority. Still to keep it balanced, remember White cloaks will resort to assasination to kill an Aes Sedai, strength in the Power is useless if you get stabbed in the back. Or their are times when channeling is not the best option. As for the shock thing mentioned above, remember adrenaline, and pain.
I work health care and have seen people out of their mind in pain. A little old woman who normally couldn't lift a glass of water because it was too heavy suffering from an infection and extremly confused and afraid i've seen chuck furniture across a room because she was afraid we were going to kill her. So don't dismiss those either. And there are those individuals who just can take a beating and keep on going until they've bled to death, or are overcome.

The past is just that, the past. You can only truly live by looking to the future!

An "accurate" WoT game would be heavily, HEAVILY biased in favor of channelers

Good idea - esp. since in Ars Magica, you have a "non-magical" character under your control, as well *NM*

Can't reply to all of these - many of these OP-discussions are heavy on the philosophy

Maybe Mage: The Ascension would work better. A vague, open-ended system would be better

That was probably 'bending light', as Rand used on Egwene in Cairhien, no? *NM*
