My point stands: I'm not sure what has changed that would make Tuon change her mind about accepting a truce or alliance on the same terms as the one offered in TGS.


The vast change in Rand's mental state?? IIRC, one of the major reasons she refused to accept was the "darkness around him"...which I take as a external expression of his internal darkness in TGS

The (hopefully) newer, more human Rand may have a different effect


Side note - Toun appeared to resist Tav'eren effects, she managed to stop the words coming out though she wanted to. Interesting
