When a Darkfriend is executed, it says something like, "Death was not the end of trouble for her. She realized that with a look of horror on her face." with the implication that 1) her soul would survive after death, 2) she'd go to "hell" and be tortured there by the Dark Lord.
Also same impression around Verin's death - how her soul was forfeit and there was nothing that could have been done for her.
So, does Randland has heaven & hell?! And do all Darkfriends automatically go to hell? Unless they somehow manage to achieve immortality and never die. Doesn't seem like a good deal.
It doesn't make sense to me. What tortures/horrors were awaiting Sheriam after her death? This bothers me.

In the WOT universe RJ didn't really seem to go into this a whole lot. We've been told by Ishamael the DO is sometimes able to get the souls of those who fight for the light if Darkfriends take their living bodies to Shay'gul(sp), and that the DO is sometimes referred to as the Lord of the Grave, but we also know that people's souls are reborn again and again, so no I don't think they have a heaven/hell afterlife.
