Yes that's exactly the feeling I get. Semirhage -- the cunning clever Semirhage -- surely wouldn't have gotten captured in this preposterous manner. But now, when you realize that maybe she ended up exactly where the Dark One wanted her to be, the capture of Semirhage does not seem so contrived anymore.
