Which is why people should NOT be MORE angered toward Seanchan than toward WT. redhand Send a noteboard - 31/10/2009 06:22:13 PM
Unless you can prove that damane will become power hungry megalomaniacs if left free, leashing them serves no purpose.

The way to handle mass murderers is not to control their ability to mass murder. It is to remove that ability completely.

If the Seanchan genuinely believe that the OP taints people who wield it, they should kill all channelers. Harnessing the channelers ability merely alters who can misuse the power. How is that a solution to the problem?

What if the White Tower created a Senachan like state in the Westlands? Ruthlessly killed all opposition, used the Power in war, used their extensive system of eyes and ears to deliver swift retribution and forced every girl who could channel to join the White Tower?

Some of that already happens, and you have harshly criticized the Tower for it. But somehow, when it is non channelers who end up wielding the Power for their purposes, its alright?

This is ridiculous hypocrisy on your part.

I though we all agree the majority of AS are "power hungry megalomaniacs if left free" from all the gleemen's stories and the general opinions of Randland folks, so what is the argument?

Given the state of affairs, you either be anger toward ALL of them, or consider it just a fact of the world. Cannoli clearly stated one is not worse than any other factions.

Hypocrisy means accepting the wrong done by your own folks, and being angry at the same wrong done by foreigners.
