The part about kneeling to the crystal throne, IMO, is probably corrupted though I am not sure if Ishamael had any part in directly corrupting the prophecy. Maybe Luthair Paendrag or his descendents chaged them to suit their need.

The part about going blind(figuratively) seems true in regards to tGS. It's a translation of the KC by the Seanchan. Just because someone added in that little part about kneeling to the throne doesn't mean the entire thing is corrupted. For e.g they make refernces to Perrin's hammer and to him as wolf-king, but we haven't seen any corresponding translation from the westland version for him
