My own thoughts:

1. Demandred is a Seanchan general. I arrived at this unscientific conclusion based on the fact that he, Mesaana and Semirhage had a plot together, according to Graendal. Semirhage used to be in Seanchan, Mesaana was in the Tower. Despite Semirhage having been captured and balefired, the Black Ajah STILL knew of the HIGHLY SECRET Seanchan raid ahead of time and managed to escape. This points to Mesaana's surviving co-conspirator, Demandred, being in Seanchan. Furthermore, Demandred claimed to have an army (and liked commanding them), but Graendal (discounting the Seanchan for some reason) couldn't think of any armies big enough left in the world other than the Borderlanders.




I agree. I mentioned several times, in different threads of RAFO, that Demandred is General Galgan. For me, behavior of Galgan is very "demandrish", he likes uniforms, is not a toker but observant, and his military decisions and advises to tDoNM are in the interest of the DO. Galgan supports ofensive moves against other countries, what in results causes heavy losses on both sides. Demandred is working on Seanchan military aggression and disaster caused by war. Semirhage resposibility was political, she triggered collapse of the Empire. Both sowed chaos and death.


I also agree, Seanchan is a huge Empire why not have two Forsaken there? Besides Semi was in charge of sowing dissension and chaos in Seanchan, and Demandred sowed Chaos with the Return. Having a huge army (Seanchan armies in the West, plus multiple channelers at his disposal) seems to fit his nature as well.

Only other thing I would think would be the Borderlanders, reason being is that Rand must unite the North and the East, but the Borderlander armies are not in the North at the moment, Lan and Ituralde, Bashere and every Borderlander farmer following the Storm fights for Rand, the 200k borderlanders in the South dont fight for anyone. Anyway, just thought it could be plausible, would be like Demandred to have an army with a tactical advantage, 200,000 borderlanders (superior to any other nations army) in an area that Rand cant use his best weapon, Ashaman or CK.
