I was actually thinking, at one point, that the True Power would be used in sealing the DO.
LTT and Rand were discussing the sealing, and how saidin wasn't enough to seal him. But we know that using both saidin and saidar would end with both of them being tainted. I see two potential outcomes
1) Rand someone manages to use the TP again, and seals the DO's prison with that. The DO tries his counterstroke, only to realize too late that he actually tainted himself, thus fully sealing himself (or something).
2) Rand uses both saidin and saidar, using the "three become one" thing with Callandor and his two channeling ladyfriends. Both are tainted, but the DO is sealed. The world Breaks again (as it is foretold the Dragon will do) and eventually channeling dies out. The newly produced technology is then used to bring about the Fourth Age, which is awfully close to modern times.
