Will the Green Ajah get their act together to be ready for the last battle?

The Green Ajah's Combat skills have been incredibly lame up to this point for ones who's main mission has been "To hold themselves ready for Tarmon Gai'don.".Instead of improving I think they've lost all their combat skills since the Trolloc Wars.
Every time I re-read the series I wonder why the wasn't at least few green sisters already at Fal Dara in EOTW. With the three oaths in place they should have been there or elsewhere in the borderlands honing their combat weaves against shadowspawn.
Lord Agelmar always seems to me surprised when he learns that Moiraine isn't there to help with the upcoming battle which he doesn't believe will be won. I always get the impression that he sent out many pigeons to Tar Valon and elsewhere requesting help.
We've seen very few Greens even casting combat spells. Alanna helping out in the Two Rivers and one throwing Lightnings a Dumai's Wells are the only ones that come to mind.
For the last year they have known that the last battle is coming in their lifetime for sure and very soon. Yet as far as we've seen they've done absolutely nothing to prepare.
They certainly showed how combat ready they are in Tar Valon.
They should all be serving penance for the next 200 years should they and the world survive.

Doesn't help that we were introduced to the best so early in the series
