So, I have scanned the title's of the discussions and have not seen it mentioned before, so let's get this idea of my back. Even thoug I doubt it can be counted as an "idea" since I have the feeling it's so dead obviously.
So, in Ch 48 "Reading the Commentary", Min is bugged by the passage "He shall hold a blade of light in his hands, and the three shall be one". It bugs her, and then finds out that it has also bugged Cadsuane all this time. In fact, it was the very reason that led her to investigate Callandor and to the conclusion that Callandor was flawed.
To me it's very obvious that "the three" is Min, Elayne and Aviendha. Especially coupled with the fact that Callandor needs to be controlled by two channelers. In order to do this, Rand needs to trust the two women controlling the link. The only real trust from Rand will be in his three wives, who have become one after the bond (or are one when linked). Elayne and Aviendha will have Callandor, how Min will be involded I do not know. But it seems to fit.
This also means that Callandor is not flawed, but was deliberately made as such.
Just wondering, is this obvious to others? Other ideas? Anybody else annoyed with Min for not figuring this out?

It seemed much more obvious to me that that three becoming one refers to saidin, saidar and the true power rather than three channelers. I can't remember Moridin's physical appearance offhand, could he fit the description of a dark young man? The line could then refer to Rand using Callandor, linked with whomever (though Alivia and Nynaeve seem more likely to me than Elayne or Avi, because he trusts them both and would be more willing to risk them than his own women) and using all three of the Powers at the very end of the Last Battle to repair the Bore - I think he could access the TP if he was using Moridin's body at the time, by the time the DO realises it wasn't Moridin it would be too late.

It was stated explicitly that the third person is Moridin.

Wrong again. Pages 235-236 in The Gathering Storm are very clear about this.

Nowhere does it state that Moridin is the third. Just one of EIGHT people in Rand's head.
