and agree with it. However, more powerful channelers lead to more powerful circles, to be directed by more experienced channelers. I imagine at the last battle they are going to use every channeler they can, and linking is the best way to utilize the power of an inexperienced channeler without having to deal with her inexperience.

It may not have been long enough to force the novices, but I was more wondering about the concept of forcing and its potential.
