Didn't forget you.... Light in the Night Send a noteboard - 18/11/2009 10:42:58 AM

I'm still sticking with my "Song of Saidin" theory. Singing will be needed to defeat the DO and cleanse the land. I think Rand figured out, (and RJ and BS have said, the amount of balefire needed to destroy the DO would also destroy the Pattern), you can't overpower Shai'tan.

BTW, I used that same quote in my theory.

And, alas, is there anyway I can have a look at your old theory?

You know the Tinkers are descendants of the Dai'shain Aiel, and the only ones of that descent that still sing. The BWB says that the Dai'shain Aiel helped their Aes Sedai by aiding their OP weavings. (And of course we saw the seed-singing in tSR through Rand's eyes.) We know that this also employed the OP in conjunction with their singing voices.

Simply said, instead of the CK, Rand will have to employ singing to amplify the OP to achieve sealing the Bore. He won't be trying to overpower the DO, it will be more like putting the world in harmony. (I don't know how else to say it.)

As for my old theories, I don't have access to them ATM. They were all on my old hard-drive on my old PC that took a dump. Anyway, one of my sons is working to download the hard-drive onto a flash-drive or disc. If he can't, I'll have learned a lesson about backing-up my stuff the hard-way.

However, I know that somebody here at this place has all the theories from the TP at wotmania, so maybe all is not lost.
Where once was Shadow
Now reigns Light
Darkness fades
Into the Night

I made the switch!
