I wouldn't be surprised if Demandred is behind:

- Asunawa
- Masema
- Roedran
- The rebellion in Tear
- The rebellion in Andor (Arymilla)
- The Borderlanders moving south (doubt he will make them do much evil, but they have certainly left their posts).

I'm pretty sure his army IS Sharan. We get enough mention from Noal and in the Glossary (it's a long entry in tGS's) to know that they are a substantial military force. The Ayyad in particular are too good for the Shadow to miss.

One other possibility I've never seen mentioned is that he is commanding the Sea Folk - we know that Rand's contacts there are of low rank and have little power. If the Sea Folk channelers turned on Rand, he'd be in serious trouble.

This could also explain why the shiploads of grain took so long to reach Arad Doman.
