I don't believe they could have held Lanfear unless she'd been stilled, which is a real possibility. It would be an extraordinary twist to discover that Moridin had ordered Semirhage to Heal her. But then Semirhage doesn't know how. Maybe a Black Sister from the Yellow - like Dagdara (I think she's one of them).

Moiraine might be stilled too... not a pleasant thought, though perhaps Nynaeve and Flinn will help her.

There are so many unknowns it's frightening. How on earth did Cyndane escape the Finns?


Hmm, maybe both women fell unconscious after their battle, the Finn captured and stilled them with some ter'angreal. Later they probably killed Lanfear then for some reason.

On the other hand, my impression was that BS implied in his answer on Tamyrlin's question that both, a burned out and a stilled channeler, would still be incapable of channeling.
