Didn't Sanderson seem to imply that we might see Elaida in a possible outrigger novel? (see below)

I don't know if Elaida will be involved in the rest of the story, but it would be interesting to see her role in an outrigger-- especially if the da'mane are free.

Everyone always dismissed it as unimportant. It's nice to get at least some vindication on it.


So you know, Matrimony, assuming the guy that asked the question doesn't post his answer and you care for more details on your idea, Brandon replied that being collared the influence this evil has through Elaida would be muted (that is what I remember). That is not recorded, so take that as you will.
