Meh. It's not like we were promised answers in every book. And this is 1/3 of a book. *NM*

Frankly, this one pisses me off more and more with each passing day. I liked the book. I thought Sanderson did a fantastic job with the task he was given and is likely to do an even better job than Jordan himself would have (based on later books).
However, there are a lot of major mysteries out there and I feel more and more like we're being dicked around with the endless RAFOs. I am firmly convinced that Sanderson could have resolved at least ONE of the major fan debates in this book without "ruining plot development" or some such crap. He could have let us know exactly who Demandred or Mesaana is, who killed Asmodean (or narrowed the list by having, for example, Graendal ponder, "I wonder who killed Asmodean?" ), resolve questions about Lanfear/Cyndane or something like that.

There were wards on the door to get in (which Gateways kinda invalidate).
