I think, he'll still manage to get ToM turned in for a release in late-2010, but it's far from certain.
Do you really think his turning it in in time is far from certain? Even if he only has a completed draft ready to go in February or March (meaning writing about 10% a month between now and then), Tor would still have more time to edit and prepare distribution than it did for TGS. If the book isn't published at all in 2010, I would bet it would be Tor's doing and not Sanderson's directly.
In an ideal world, would Sanderson spend slightly less time touring?
