Do we all want the books to have come out yesterday? YES, of course! On the other hand, Tor wants to make sure that the handing over of power, so to speak, runs smoothly and the fan base is enthused and ready to buy. Also, he has a right to make money off his own book, Warbreaker. If sales are good maybe Tor will pressure him to write a sequel. It certainly left room for one.
