I don't understand why the Aes Sedai don't simply take an Oath during their Oathing process that they will never do anything to help the Shadow. This would prevent them from unswearing an Oath for the purposes of the DO.
Let me give an example. You know, Lord so in so is a high ranking DF. You find out that an assassin is coming, but you need to question Lord so and so. You arrive in time to stop the assassin, however by doing so you help a known darkfriend, thus the Shadow.
