How the DL must be looking forward to this embassy ... Abunderment Send a noteboard - 05/12/2009 05:13:14 PM
Even if Rand is now full of love, it is difficult to imagine him coping with more AS any time soon. In general, the Tower has been a far more effective force for chaos (and thus evil) than 200 BA.

What does he actually need from the Tower? The Horn. Channelers to counter the BA (really the Tower's responsibility anyway). Yellows for healing. Some stronger AS for gateways. Perhaps some *angreal.

The Aiel, Seanchan and Sea-folk have many more channelers and they are more disciplined, better trained, act as agreed / instructed and are courageous under fire. They do not suffer the oaths which make the AS useless for assault and ambush, and unpredictable in defence.

The kin would be a useful addition as support. What, really can the AS add?

Of course She must try. Egwene should use her greatest strengths: Elayne, Nynaeve and herself, with Avi and Min providing support. And let us hope that Egwene can get over the AS manipulative fantasies, and return to being the straight-talking innkeeper's daughter.
