If Egwene could make a gateway into the Tower storeroom from inside the Tower, then she could have made a gateway into the storeroom from anywhere on earth.

So why didn't she Travel there before, steal all the angreal and sa'angreal in a couple of minutes and escape back to Salidar with all of the loot?

And another thing, I know it's been touched on before, but I don't know what the answer was: Why the heck didn't Mesaana or any of the other Forsaken simply Travel to the storeroom to take what they want at leisure?


No idea why the FS didn't do it, but Egwene and the Rebels discussed doing just that but chose to not risk giving Elaida the Tower Traveling. IIRC It was discussed at some point... I'll have to go look, but it's around "being able to make real AS while depriving the Tower of the ability"
