They weren't willing to risk the tower AS learning the traveling weave. Especially since the Salidar Aes Sedai never actually wanted to engage in direct power battles with the tower AS.



She did not know for sure until her meeting with Siuan early on in TGS. Egwene thought she knew but wasn't for sure until Siuan confirmed it in the meeting in the dream world.
