She can sense when a man has embraced the source. She can even detect the presence of a male channeler.

When, and if, Moridin comes near her, she will know a male channeler is present. So she will be ready. The moment he throws something at her and she feels nothing, she will know something is wrong and prepare herself.

All this is conditional to her ter'angreal being ineffective against the TP. We don't know that it isn't.
