There has been some speculation here that Rand and company will have to use the TP to actually touch the DO during the LB in order to prevent the same backlash that caused the taint on Saidin. Also, it seems clear that Callandor will be used in the LB by Rand and a couple of free agent ladies to be named later. Power in the sword that is not a sword will have to be guided by one of the ladies. This will make the other lady and Rand who are linked with Callandor pretty useless, unless Rand is also using the TP at the same time to create a buffer against the DO.
So what do you think? Can Rand channel the TP while also serving as a conduit for the linked circle wielding Callandor?
The problem I see with this is that: if the TP is just concentrated essence of DO, then touching the TP with the OP is the same as touching the DO with the OP. Any buffer would just be useless.
