I thought that the "ancient wrong" refered to the fact that the people in "Randland" did not hold to their oaths: that is they did not keep allegiance to the Great Hawkwing.
I don't know. Somehow that does not really seem to fit for me.
When you consider that all the other lines happened in a chronological order, and how major all the other were, having the ancient wrong be something as feeble as the population not keeping some "oaths" made by distant ancestors to a man long dead, would be rather disappointing. It also does not fit the timeline.
Also how would the Seanchan "slay it". While the new improved version of Rand would probably be far better and willing at peace negotiation, I doubt he would be willing to go so far as to submit to the Seanchan or allow them to rule over his lands so long as they continued to enslave innocents. Atleast I hope not.
