from what I've read ToM will be 100% concurrent to TGS showing us the other plot lines in the exact same timeframe.
Several other books have overlapped to a degree, but mostly it's been the last part of the previous book overlapping with the first part of another book.
Perhaps I'm wrong on the timeline of ToM and TGS, but what I've seen indicates we'll basically just see what Mat, Perrin and Elayne are up too during the events of TGS.
