No one's relationship has interfered with saving the world

Perrin went a little crazy when Faile was captured, and Mat might have been better served if he'd kept the Queen of Seancean with him longer, but for the most part there hasn't been any "I have to either save my love or save the world!!!!" moments
And yeah, the Rand/Elayne relationship felt extremely forced. Not as bad as Egwene/Gawyn, though.

I amuse myself.

I agree that Perrin and Berelain would have been more dynamic than Faile

I hate that there are relationships: They're trying to save the world; they can F**k afterwards!

Good point. Perrin is a bit dim and the cojones are another handy way to nudge him along *NM*

I think there was a direct response from RJ about Elayne not being Ilyena reborn

Faile and a big knife or sharpened stake also come to mind. As do Perrin and Berelain. *NM*

I don't think so; both of their POVs actually showed a mutual appreciation.

Darn you are right. Although I would have prefered the Slean incarnation of Lanfear. *NM*
