and I think you may be underestimating the situation too. We're talking about a "pact" the women rallied behind because they thought his actions would end up destroying the world. I don't find it all that hard to believe that 100% of the women would have said NO, or at least LTT probably thought that it would be too late to act by the time he convinced one of them.
