Probably the fully integrated Rand will know even better what happened back then. Besides that, while it certainly should be interesting for the characters to read TSaSG, I doubt that there are clues how to defeat the DO in this text. One should better concentrate on Fel's riddle and the various Prophecies (like Min does).
