There is, at the least, some reason to believe that the Shadow will not only attack from the North. A united Andor can only help the Light in this case. To some extent, a united White Tower is also of additional importance if the attacks are more widespread, since sisters will likely be deployed over the next two books and will be more willing to work together and without preference for Ajah.
