After all, they already accept a farmboy as their leader. I have a feeling that the example of Beslan will be crucial to such efforts if they occur.

As for the damane, that will need to change gradually, not quickly. We've seen that most damane cannot handle being unchained. I think there will be an amnesty like that in the Matrix - those who wish to be uncollared can go to the Tower, and those who wish to stay will fight in TG as they have superior combat skills (and though it won't be stated, they are part of an outmoded system, and therefore expendable).

The mainstream slavery in Seanchan society on the other hand seems not that dissimilar from Gai'shan in Aiel society (minus the fact that GS are released, and have a few extra rights - they are however required to perform far more laborious tasks than many da'covale). Even in Randland, slavery isn't looked upon with the disgust we have. I don't think this makes it ok, but I think that this is something that needs to be addressed on a wider scale than just the Seanchan.

I can see concepts form all societies combining to form a new style of leadership in Randland post-TG: The WT will act as an advisory/history/research centre, parts of the Seanchan political strictness/transparency will be used (the parts that ensure that power is not abused), but at the same time leaders will not have slaves who are no more than property - they will need to act on a more personal level like the Wise Ones.
