i like your thinking. i posted elsewhere that early in the book moridin shows her some favor and she may have been involved in springing semmy, which may have been planned by moridin to get rand to channel the tp to bf semmy.
basically, i think there is some evidence that graendal may have been aware of the plan as well as its purpose. if true, it's not a big leap to think that she would expect to get attacked next and fast given the state this put rand into.
i even think this indicates that there was more involved in moridin's plan--to get rand to attack graendal and fool him into thinking she was dead.
