Those were the days. Or you're really showing your age if you remember when it split from rec.arts.sf.written and how excited everyone was to get a dedicated RJ newsgroup.


While we're all waxing nostalgic, does anyone here remember the old GEnie dial-up text-based site? I still remember rushing thru Fires Of Heaven (uphill, thru a blizzard :)) and excitedly posting a spoiler that Lanfear and Moiraine were dead. And then there was the night that something weird happened and the Star Trek section of the site melted.
